Our first non-alcoholic beer, the Pico Bello, was a big hit & that's why we wanted to offer you a second option for the days you want to take it easy! More bitter, piney and a bit roasty but still only 0.3%, that's Pico Nova!

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 21A - adapted low alcohol: 0.3%). Bottle 33 cl - Batch undeclared (BB: 13/09/24). AROMA: medium to medium-high hop aroma (pine, slight peach), low malt background with a toffee note and beer-must. APPEARANCE: light amber color and clear. medium off-white head with average retention. TASTE: initial medium hop flavor (pine, slight fruitiness), followed by medium-low to low malt background, slightly sweet and somewhat musty. medium-high bitterness with an almost dry and bitter finish that persists. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low to low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a not bad low alcohol IPA!

Clear golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have the sweet juicy element of tinned mandarin segments. In the finish there's plenty of bitterness. Very successful alcohol free beer.

33cl Blik van Nix&Nix Heerhugowaard. Licht troebele diepgouden kleur, witte kraag. Iets moutig, hint van tabak, toast, wat tropisch fruit, passievrucht, kokos, fris, redelijk bitter, geen moment het idee een N-A te drinken. Lichte body. Lekker.

28/VI/21 - 33cl can from Makro (Eke), shared @ Vinny’s welcome BBQ (UGent), BB: 24/IV/22, batch PC01 (2021-550) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the can!
Clear orange blond beer, small creamy yellowish aery head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very metallic, bit fruity, lots of wort, grains, floral touch. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty bitter, fruity, little sweet, gentle bitterness, some citrus. Aftertaste: fruity, wort, some caramel, little metallic, decent, not great though. Pretty ok for a NA beer.

0.33 l can from 'OnderNulPuntVijf', best before January 2022. Clear, amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, resiny and gently fruity aroma of tobacco, pine and mango. Just slightly sweet, rather dry, gently bitter, fairly resiny and slightly fruity taste of tobacco, pine and mango, followed by a short, quite bitter, fairly dry and resiny finish. Thin body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Truly West Coast, very interesting.
