Can from Beer52. Murky orange-brown with good sized foamy off-white head. Aroma of orange zest, funky tropical notes, hay, greenery. Taste of overripe grapefruit, orange pith, grass, bitter, tangy and dry in the finish. Interesting but not overly keen flavour wise.

330 ml can online from LCB. Pours hazed amber pour with a off-white cap. Sweet malt & grapefruit aroma. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet with light bitterness, orange marmalade, grapefruit, citrus pith, dry-ish taste. Medium body with soft carbonation. Way too sweet, odd one.

[33cl from the Beer52 online shop.] A hazy amber pour with a loose cream coloured head; mellow grainy aroma with some citrus pith; sweet fruit orange marmalade taste with a touch of grapefruit and chewy grains; followed by a satisfying finish with some barley sugar and warmth in the stomach. A beer to sit and enjoy contemplatively - which got me thinking, is this the beer with the shortest name?

330ml can via my son and Beer52: BB 1st May 2022. Drank at home on 9th Jun 2021. Hazy old gold, off-white head. Citrus notes in the nose and taste with grapefruit to the fore in both the aroma and flavour. Decent!

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 03/12/20. Almost clear golden amber with an off white head. Nose is orange peel, straw, melon, toasted malts, light spruce tips. Taste comprises orange peel, faint pine, grass, airy malts, hint of caramel, faint herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced hop bitterness. Ok.

Can. Pretty much a clear burnished gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft and semi dry malts impart a light creamy sweetness with a mild biscuit touch and a trace of caramel. Jester and Olicana bring much floral and semi ripe citrus with a light itchy spice running throughout as does a soft pine. Light touches of lime and crystallized fruits - without the sugar sweetness. Mild and soft floral pear, well buried. Mild tangerine on the smooth finish. Good stuff. So nice to have a hop forward beer with modern UK hops providing a different profile of hop goodness, really wish more UK craft brewers would use them. Somebody must have the balls to do UK hop DIPAs?
