21/8/2020. Can from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Pours opaque black with a nice size tan coloured head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, plum, hint of strawberry, caramel, roasted malt and molasses. Medium sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Full body, creamy slick texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyable, good one to finish the day on.

Keg at the Head Of Steam, Leeds. Black with a bubbly-frothy head. Has fairly crisp roasted malts given its strength, all relative, but its strength also provides for a deeper roasted aftertaste, and it gets sticky-sweet here too.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Pours dark, deep brown head. Big coffee roast aroma. Taste continues, lots of coffee here, grainy malt, wood with pleasantly sweet bitter chocolate undertones. Nice.

440ml can from Hop Knocker, Durham. Pours black in colour with a fine brown foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of chocolatey malt, molasses, dark fruit, coffee. Taste is sweetish, roasty, malt, dark chocolate, milky, with molasses, tobacco, coffee and ashy earthy bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
