Can on 30th March 2025, received as gift. Pours orangey copper with a tall, lasting yellowy white foam and partial lacing. Fruity aroma. Astringent bitterness in-mouth with transient maltiness. A long bitter finish. The prickle of pepper. Interestingly the IPA sweetens further down the glass, with tropical and citrus fruits adding to the profile. Light bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

330ml can from Beers of Europe. Light cloudy dark gold/light amber, small fluffy white head, decent retention. Aroma is biscuit malts, grainy, with a hoppy note of citrus zest, stone fruits and earthy-flora. Taste is biscuit malts, grains, stone fruits, pineapple, zesty bitterness, earthy, very dry and almost astringent in note. For whatever reason its just not that tasty. Light to medium bodied, oily yet dry in the close.

44cl Blik van Eden Project. Als West Coast Session IPA. Mistig goudoranje kleur, witte kraag. Citrus, gist, marmalade, licht bloemig, OK bitter. Smaak is wel wat vlak en het geheel niet echt overtuigend.

330ml can purchased from the brewery as part of a delivery and drunk at home. Golden brown and clear with a thin loose white head. Pine, marmalade and some TCP on the nose. Bitter taste with more light pine, some kumquat peel. Abrupt medicinal finish. Watery body, heavy carbonation. A bit dull but drinkable.

Can from RHS Wisley Shop as Thoughtful Forager Cloudy Tropical Ale. Aroma has herbal hoppy notes along side malty bread and a touch of caramel. Marred by hints of vinegar. It's not cloudy really. Somewhat opaque amber. Foamy pitted white head. Medium bitter. Chewy resin. Quite a tart 8nda off citrus edge. But also woody - could imagine I'm licking my shed. Underlying bread malts. Light bodied. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Not a great beer. Aiming for West Coast but not some much resinous as just blunt bitterness over a twiggy malts and odd sour elements.
