Hazy golden with a warm cap, frothy, bubbly, lasting long enough and leaving some foamy lacing traces. On the sweet-fruity side for aromas with peaches and pineapple, over the typical citrus (orange juice) hoppinness. The taste has some citrus zest bite in the end, giving a bit of dryness and tart. Kind of a zing that lingers. A nice DDH IPA that smells sweet and fruity, but then pushes you in the mouth with zest, tart, bitterness and more.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours quite hazy medium yellow with a decent head and a little lace. Notes of coconut, green melon, mixed citrus pulp, orange and grapefruit zests, some mango/peach flesh sweetness in the middle to round things out but dry overall, soft slightly crackery malt base, finish is quite dry with orange and grapefruit peel giving soft bitterness and oily florals, touch of an herbal Sabro touch as well, fruit rinds in the aftertaste. Fairly light body with quite active but smooth carb. Nice bright fresh-feeling NEIPA with an interesting hop profile, quite refreshing.

A hazed yellow ipa with no head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, peaches, sweet plums, nice. In mouth, sweet biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light tropical fruits, citrus, perfume, very nice. On tap at brewery.

Cam: Poured a cloudy/hazy bright yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fresh hoppy notes of citrus with light tropical fruit notes and some green hops undertones. Taste is a nice hoppy mix of citrus notes with some tropical notes and light green hops notes with some light residual sugar notes. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA with great level of drinkability.

De fortes notes de pamplemousse égayent nos narines dès le départ et s’accompagnent d’une touche d’orange et d’ananas, agrémentant un olfactif tout à fait tropical avec un soupçon de conifères en sous-note. Une toute petite mousse très effervescente et éphémère couvre un liquide jaune, opaque et flou. L’entrée de bouche favorise l’explosion du pamplemousse qui s’impose et accapare une bonne partie de la palette, laissant tout de même un peu d’espace pour des notes d’ananas et d’orange. Une amertume douce mais bien sentie en finale laisse passer un soupçon de cèdre et de pin. Le liquide présente une corpulence moyenne, une texture douce et une amertume qui complémente bien le pamplemousse dominant. L’alcool est bien intégré et très peu senti. Intéressante NEIPA. Bonne utilisation du houblon Sabro mettant en évidence les notes de cèdre qui donnent une dimension peu commune à l’amertume.
