Bouteille 750ml.

A nice copper ale with a thick creamy mocha head In aroma, caramel "malt" with floral and citrus hops. In mouth, a nice caramel with smooth floral hops, well done for a gltuen free beer. On tap at Bieres et Saveurs, Sept 2 2012.

Aroma: Sugar cane, candy and caramel. Slight hoppy acents are sticking out at the end. Appearance: Small, frothy, off-white and diminishing head with fair lacing. Clear brown with thin body. Taste: Long lasting hoppy attack. Hops are very present as opposed to the sweet aroma. We can also find notes of spices and pepper but generally the main accents are from bitterness. A little dry and metallic finish. The strange thing about this beer is that its nose is the opposite of its taste. For a gluten free beer, it’s most certainly a superior quality beer. Finally a good quality gluten free beer.

Bottle: Poured a light brown color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of earthy and resin hops is quite dominant with light spicy malt notes. Taste is dominated by earthy and resin notes of hops with a particular malt bill that is somewhat spicy and grainy. Body is a bit light with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Good but does end up showing lighter malt bill then non-gluten free beer would usually have. I can see this being very enjoyable if you have gluten related issue.
