Dark copper pour, big off white head. Aroma of caramel malts, slightly sweet, candied orange peel, and orange zest. Carb, and mouth feel as very soft. Finish is medium bitter, and it lingers quite long. Lots of sweet candied citrus notes, juicy, and sweet. Not over tye top, but still very pleasant.

Pours a slight hazed golden-orange colour with a big off-white cap that stays very long, leaving some foamy patches of lacing. Orange aromas over the hops that give out earthy notes, with burnt green leaves. The taste shows as well this orange flavour separated from the earthy dark-green leaf. It is interesting, as unique. Not crazy bitter, but a good dry mouthfeel. Yeah, an interesting IPA.

Hazy amber and light copper coloured body with a thinnish tan head Aroma of light hops, earth, caramel and a bit of alcohol noticeable as well. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and earthy hoppy flavour with a nicely balanced malt showing right behind. Aftertaste is a bit on the English/Earthier side, but some hop notes show through, along with a bit of PNW hops and a touch of grain and alcohol. Overall, a decent beer that shows some nice hoppy notes, but not in the same caliber as the beers from America, of course. I sampled this stubby 500 mL ’montreal-styled’ bottle, purchased from Marche des Saveurs du Quebec in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 18-September-2016 for CA$5,99 sampled in my hotel room later in the day on 18-September-2016 in Montreal.

Herbeuse et pas assez amère à mon goût pour une IPA. La couleur est bien mais la mousse ne tient pas.

A murky amber ipa with a super thick frothy lacing mocha head. In aroma, some nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit, pungent and smooth. In mouth, a rather grassy biscuit malt with good floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light doughy character, lingering bitterness, good.

Bottle: Poured a hazy deep orangey/amber color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of citrus hops with nice floral undertones and light earthy hops notes. Taste is a mix between some earthy hops with some citrus hoppy notes that are well balanced against some caramelized malt notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Quite enjoyable though even more hops would have balanced that huge malt backbone.

Bouteille 500ml.

Aroma: Floral and herbal hops with notes of licorice. We can also find malted aromas of toasted bread and sugar cane. An excellent nose that is developing and evolving all along the process. An almost perfect balance of malty and hoppy aromas. Appearance: Average white head with a mix of creamy and rocky look. Average lasting and good lacing. hazy gold looking, almost orange. Taste: Attack is dry and bitter with notes of hay and cereal. Hops are working hard to leave a dry bitterness with citrus notes. That beer’s got all characteristics of a good IPA.
