Tap t the mondiale 2014. Dark amber pour, eggshell head. Some nice maltys aromas, bready, even a tad nutty, with a solid amount of citrus hops. Good mouth feel, good carb. Finish is a medium bitter, with some more pleasant juicy, citrusy hops flavors. This is quite pleasant and easy drinking.

Visuel : Couleur : ambrée foncée. Apparence : claire.
Arôme : Caramel, houblon herbeux, fruité (agrumes) aux notes poivrées et résineuses.
Goût : En entrée de bouche : Goût moyennement amer de houblon herbeux, fruité (agrumes), légèrement résineux et aux notes épicées, présent toute la gorgée. Un ferme support malté de caramel sucré également présent avec un léger goût de biscuits sucrés.
En bouche : Corps : moyen. Effervescence : moyenne. Texture : très légèrement huileuse. Finale : moyenne, composée d’une moyenne amertume de houblon herbeux, aux notes résineuses, poivrées et fruitées.

Légère sensation d’épices au nez. poivre léger. Caramel léger. Quelques fruits tropicaux, un semblant de cantaloup et une trace de pamplemousse. Le visuel est ambré, foncé, presque brun et flou. La mousse est épaisse, beige, dense et elle tient longtemps. L’attaque est quand même assez épicée et poivrée avec des traces de résine en finale. Le houblonnage est à point et pas trop agressif. Les saveurs maltées sont très faibles. Sans doute y trouve-t-on des traces de petits fruits rouges de noisettes et de caramel, mais la présence de notes de houblon est plus marquante. (Épices, poivre et résine) Une bière sans caractère bien précis. Je nage dans l’indifférence.

Le produit est d’un superbe rouge, ça sent bon, ça semble bien malté... L’amertume est bien présente mais mal intégrée à la bière. L’étiquette est affreuse, désolé ;(

Part of their new IPA collection, this red IPA pours a real dark amber colour with a creamy-froth beige head, great retention and loads of lacing. Grassy mild nose with the Cluster hops over the caramel hops and hints of fruits (mostly berries). Decent bitterness in the mouthfeel with some nice dryness. The malt is not as strong in this one (compared to the Black IPA), with notes of caramel and mild roasted malts. More grassy hops, so for those who like hoppy red ales, this is for you.

Glass, 4-ounce, draught, during the Mondial de la bière, savoured on June 13 2014; eye: auburn, nice beige head, no effervescence, no lacing; nose: orange Mr Freeze, light caramel, light grains; mouth: hops, pine, malt, light astringency, finale in hops with presence of malt, medium body, good carbonation, mildly bitter, lightly harsh texture; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Verre, 4 onces, en fût, lors du Mondial de la bière, savourée le 13 juin 2014; œil : châtain, belle mousse beige, pas d’effervescence, pas de dentelle; nez : Mr Freeze à l’orange, léger caramel, léger grains; bouche : houblon, pin, malt, légère astringence, finale en houblon avec présence de malt, corps moyen, bonne carbonatation, moyennement amère, texture légèrement rugueuse; en résumé : correct

Draft: Poured a clear deep amber color ale with a medium size foamy head. Aroma of citrus notes with light caramel malt notes is quite pleasant. Taste is also dominated by some citrus hoppy notes with a semi-sweet caramel malt backbone. Nice floral notes with limited bitterness. Body is about average with good carbonation. Pretty enjoyable overall and something they should release as a seasonal.

An orange amber Ipa with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with resinous and piney hops, tropical fruit, nice. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with citrusy pulp, floral hops, resinous and piney,, surprise! On tap at Mondial 2014.
