Hazy golden and peach coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of sour grain, white grapes, peaches, apricots, gueuze, wheat and a lot of yeast - very fragrant and super complex. Light-bodied; Sharp sour flavour at first with a very nice grassy and herbal note along with some yeast and herbal kicks coupled with some grain and a touch of the floral and grassy flavours that are most associated with a saison. Aftertaste shows some nice yeastie complexities with a little bit of earth, some wheat and yeast and a touch of apricot and peach sweetness on the very tail end, but the sour and pungent spontaneous fermentation notes show up throughout the flavours. Overall, a nice and refreshing beer with a bit of a sour flavour and a nice complexity throughout. A great beer to purchase and sample later, especially given its juxtaposition on styles and flavour profiles. I sampled this stubby 50 cL bottle (Quebec-styled) bottle purchased from Marche des Saveurs du Quebec in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 18-September-2016 for CA$5,99 sampled at home in Pungoteague/Onancock, Virginia (Eastern Shore) on 28-May-2017.

A hazed golden amber ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, lots of orange pulp, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light grassy floral hops, pink grapefruit and mandarine, light mineral notes, pleasant. Bottle from IGA du Plateau, Gatineau.

Bottle: Poured a pale yellow color ale with a super large pure white foamy head with great retention and some good lacing. Aroma of soapy hops with light tart notes is quite singular but quite enticing. Taste is also dominated by soapy hops with tart notes and light tropical fruit notes. Body is about average with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very interesting mix of different flavours though soapy hops kind of come through too much.
