Hazy orange pour, medium white head. Pale crackery malts, stale bread, very light sweet citrus. Light to medium bitternes, slightly sweet, floral pine resin hops with touches of citrus. A pretty weak boring ipa.

A lightly hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light mineral notes, light citrus, pleasant. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light citrus pulp, light tropical fruits, resinous floral hops, nice and smooth for a 2 year old beer. Bottle at OttBottShare April 2018.

Sure looks better than their 2013 edition. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with loads of tiny particles floating around. White cap, long lasting with thick foamy lace. Very sweet nose (almost honey) with some grassy hops, mils grains. The taste is thankfully not sweet, but the hops are very well-balanced. Not too dry, but a nice bitterness in the finish. The hops feel fresher and more real then last years version. A pleasant change from their first try, so looking better for the future.

Single bottle from a local IGA with a cork and cage. Pours a golden colour with some haze to it, created by a bunch of transparent particles. The white head is big, foamy, has decent retention with some stickiness to the glass around the bottom. The aromas is kind of weird. Cabbage and mild grass with the oil from the hops. The taste as well is kind of off. The mild hop is alright, but it seems like hints of tamari are present. Everything, except the look, in this beer seems a bit too off to be good. Too bad.

J’ai hésité avant de l’acheter et je me suis encore fait berner ;-( C’est moins herbeux que les années précédentes. J’y perçois du conifère et du citron, d’ailleurs mal intégrés à l’ensemble. Sa plus grande qualité est sa texture à la fois sèche et un brin huileuse.

Nette amélioration par rapport à la version 2013... Très amère en finale, un peu florale même. On sent bien l’alcool et la résine, avec une forte présence des céréales.

J’avais tellement eu de mauvais échos sur ce produit que j’ai attendu quelques semaines avant de me risquer. Étrange produit je dois l’avouer. Espérons qu’il sauront améliorer la 1ere Récolte 2014...

Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty yellow color ale with a nice large foamy head with excellent retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy and earthy hops is quite pleasant with timid floral hops notes also noticeable. Taste is also dominated by some citrusy and earthy hops with some grassy notes and non-descript dry caramel malt base. Body is about average with some good carbonation. Definitely an improvement over the 2014 version and actually not too shabby at all.

Bottle: Poured a dirty hazy beige color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of light grainy notes with faint hops. Taste is a huge letdown with faint aroma of hops with some light unrefined grainy notes and a watery finish. Body is quite full with great carbonation. Huge letdown with almost no fresh hops notes.

Sample, bottle, savoured on October 17 2013; eye: golden, clear, light effervescence, tiny ring of off-white head; nose: tropical fruits, grain, green hops, slight soap gum, slight caramel; mouth: tropical fruits, grain, green hops, slight soap gum, slight caramel, light grain, short finale in pine with light presence of soap gum, medium body, not much carbonation, mildly bitter, a bit thin; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Échantillon, bouteille, savourée le 17 octobre 2013; œil : dorée, limpide, légère effervescence, petit anneau de mousse blanc cassé; nez : fruits tropicaux, grain, houblon vert, très léger gomme savon, très léger caramel; bouche : fruits tropicaux, grain, houblon vert, très léger gomme savon, très léger caramel, léger grain, finale courte en pin avec légère présence de gomme savon, corps moyen, peu carbonatée, moyennement amère, un peu mince; en résumé : correct

Dégage au nez une forte odeur de gazon ou de cuir brulé. Est-ce une infection ? On dirait de la soupe aux choux mal cuite. Assez désagréable comme arôme. Le visuel se présente doré, avec une mousse généreuse, dense, rocailleuse à persistance très longue. Petite dentelle légère. Au gout elle présente encore cette sensation de gazon brulé extrêmement désagréable. Si le but ici était de faire un jus de houblon; alors c’est réussi. Mais, s’il s’agissait de faire une bière, alors c’est dans le champ pas à peu près. A moins que ce soit vraiment une mauvaise bouteille ou une bouteille infectée ??? Le reste de la bouteille s’est rapidement retrouvé dans l’évier.
