Hang on to your hats......this is sleeman clear 2.0! The future of beer! Good god people, what the serious fuck is this? Enough with these low carb beers, these bullshit diet beers. Watery, tasteless abortions classified as beer. Go away. No redeemable qualities whatsoever. Brutal.

Corn, barley malt, and straw aroma. Pale yellow with small head. Moderately sweet creamy barley malt and mildly bitter straw/grass flavor. Okay body. I have to say I'm disappointed - this is supposed to be one of the worst beers on the planet but it's much better than most macros of the world. If you think this is bad, try a few Minhas lagers and get back with me.

Poured from 355mL can @ family dinner. Clear pale blonde with dissipating white head. Mild sweet corn malt, bland without complexity. Nope.

Had to try! Clear bottle. Pale gold. Tastes and smells like a super market non alcohol beer. Sweet corn syrup and cereal.

Second generation of this low carb beer. Pours a light golden colour with a frothy white head that has better retention than expected with active carbonation from the medium-sized bubbles. Cereal grain malt scent with some sugars, cardboard and mild chemical hops. The taste is pretty much the same with a mineral water feel. Had a few of these from the 6-pack real cold on a hot night, and it did the job for a light lager. Now, testing room temperature and cereal-hay malts come out a little more. Still, watery overall, but nothing offensive.

Originally rated July 2006. Sleeman’s brew to fit the low carb market pours a pale yellow colour with a soapy white head that leaves minimum lace. It quickly dissipates and carbonation is active with average-size bubbles. Very weak aromas of grain malt with a fizzy and watery mouthfeel. The taste, like the rest is not offensive, but does not show up much. Close to Labatt’s Sterling. Molson’s Ultra is the best low carb out of the three big guns of Canada.

Bouteille 341ml.

Well one thing is for sure: The beer is definitely clear. Light yellow-gold color with a thin and immediately gone white head. No lacing at all. The aroma is corny and a tad skunked. Soda-water body without much going on flavor-wise except some corn and off-flavored hops. The finish is clean and flavorless. I hope the other Sleeman beers are better than this.

2004 bottle. YES finally I find and try this beer. I was enthralled by the bottle, clear, no label and a faint faint tint of yellow to the beer. The fact that they are highlighting this clearness is just ridiculous. Aroma. Nothing, maybe some light minerals, or something? Flavor. Still nothing. Body. sparkling water. Appearance. Do I have to say it? My friend and I agreed, in all seriousness, that if you put a lemon in this beer, you could serve it unknowingly to someone, as a perrier.

Bottle: Poured a light yellow beer with no head or aroma or even taste. I don’t really know what to say about this one that wasn’t said before. It’s not beer but more like water with some beer tasting products included. This is a trend that will last for a year before disappearing, which should be a good thing really.
