2019 vintage. 750 ml. Dark brown color. The flavor shows me raisin, prune, Belgian yeast and soft bourbon in the finish. Perhaps mild oak. alcohol heat only shows when warm.

Bottle shared at Party. Pours clear mahogany with a medium off-white head that dissipates to a bit of residual. Aroma of oak, dark fruits, toffeee, bourbon, Belgian yeast. Medium sweet, light bitter, a bit hot, but clean. Medium plus body. Nice beverage.

Sample at Bob's Bar during the Bruery Almost 12 Beers Of Christmas Night! event on 12/05/2019. Clear mahogany-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Aroma of oak, yeast, fruit and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of Belgian yeast, bourbon, malt and spiced fruit. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and fruity yeast aftertaste. Good beer all around.

I spotted this 750 ml bottle at a Total Wine in Ft. Worth a month or so ago. I'm thinking I would like to have the other eleven also, just guessing in advance. The Chimay glass is being taken out for this tasting. The fragrance fills the air as soon as I lift the cap, candied fruit, a yeasty presence and bread. It arrives in the glass an amber-brown with a decent covering of light tan foam. But the taste will tell the tale, here I go. Oh my, is this good or what. Figs, dates, dark raisins, vanilla, pie crust, spun sugar and malt. A thick sensation in the drink. The high abv is completely covered, a credit to the fine conversion of the various tastes. A first class presentation of my favorite style.

Poured from a 375 ml bottle. Aroma is malt forward with lots of toasted bread, caramel, toffee and but notes. Lighter burnt sugar and a hint of chocolate. Moderate fruity notes of raisin, prune, date and fig with a bit of cherry. Light oak notes with a bit of bourbon. Pours brown with a reddish, auburn hue and a medium sized, thick, tan head that recedes to a small, creamy film that lingers. Light lacing and fairly long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with a lot of malt notes. Caramel, toffee, toasted bread with lighter but and faint chocolate notes. Lots of fruity notes of raisin, prune, date, fig and a bit of cherry. Medium light alcohol spice and a touch of bourbon and oak notes. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied and a bit sticky with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer but I wish it had a bit more body. The fruit notes are a bit strong and overpower the malt a bit as well.

750ml bottle pours out cola brown topped with a small head. Nose is sweet malts spice pit fruit. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts pitfruit spice. Nice end to the 12 years.

750ml bottle from Jeremy. Muddy dark brown with a nice abundant tan head. Roasty malts and light fruity notes make up the aroma along with a pleasant hit of whiskey. Taste brings more of the quad notes, plums, prunes and yeast. Nice boozy finish.

Draft. Deep brown/black body. Large beige head, diminishing. Aroma of dark fruit, plum, toasted and roasted malt, bread, light bourbon and oak, mustiness. Medium to full body, watery/velvety texture. Starts sweet, but finishes lightly to moderately bitter with some alcohol pepperiness. Taste of plum, fig with hint of bourbon.
