At first I caught an aroma of Swedish berries. A walk in the orchard. A warm breeze. A favorite childhood candy store. A vague snapshot in time. Take a sip and enjoy the refreshing effervescence and tartness of this barrel-aged sour beer.

Bottle shared at Csakajo. Opaque, pale pinkish yellow pour with a quickly dissipating head. Nose is intense mixed ferm notes: there’s lots of funk and acetic acid with some lactic notes. Vaguely floral as well. Taste sharply sour upfront, with time it mellows a bit. The floral notes are stronger than in the aroma, but the mixed ferm rule the taste too. Closes with a long lasting, acidic finish with floral hints, it has a light to medium body and soft to average carbonation.

Bottle from the lcbo. Hazy pi k pour with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma has some solid lactic notes, good tartness light fruit, floral, light vinegar. Mouth feel is nice, carb is lively. Finish is very tart, actually quite sour, with some tropical fruit finish. Light guava, grapefruit and subtle barrel.

Poured from 473mL can (thanks Nico). Hazed orange with minimal white head. Aroma has a hint of nail polish. Taste is better, still fairly acidic, touch of oak, rose hips and hibiscus in the background. If the sourness was toned down, would enjoy it more, but okay. It does grow on you as it warms up, sip slow.

Bottle pour at Small Pony, pours a clear peachy pink with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of oak, followed by rose hips and hibiscus. Flavour is acidic, with lots of acidic berry notes, plenty of hibiscus, rose hips, and oak. Too acidic for me, but it's pleasant enough.

Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Earthy and herbal with a touch of pepper. Soured herbal notes, touch vegetal and a sour finish.
Medium strength aserbic sour with lovely citrus and raspberry. It finishes with a sweet tarts candy that lingers nicely with the diminishing tartness. Well done.

First of theirs available at the LCBO. This one I was holding on - 2018 edition, bottled April 25, 2018. Still looks great ! Hazy golden with a fizzy off-white head that does not last (expected) and no lacing is left. Kind of tired of sours nowadays, but this one is in the above the rest so well-brewed barrel-aged sour beers. Tarty, fruity with some vinegar sourness. The floral notes of hibiscus and Rose Hips do come our with time. Very sour, somewhat tarty mouthfeel with the balsamic notes, apple vinegar and other fruitiness. Yes, so well-blended for a sour. If I would not know this is local for us, I would of guessed Belgium. What a great first experience. Now will visit this place shortly.
