Our Citra single-hop is an American Pale Ale that was originally part of our “Espiga Hop Collection Series”, but due to its popular acclaim we decided to brew it again in 2017. We find the reflection of Citra hops that in aroma and mouth stands out for citrus notes of lemon and lime typical of this hops, achieving a refreshing beer that is perfect for hot days of the year or cool down moments.

Fra flaske på romjulstreff i RBHD des-16:klar lys gylden med højt skum! Tropiske frukter og sødmefylt citrus i aroma og smak. Slank og myk, og med en behagelig bitterhet som gir stor drikkeglede.

330ml bottle. Clear-hazy golden colour, stupid ridiculously huge frothy head (nice lacing and retention once it eventually settles). Aroma: loads of citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, some malty notes, yeast. Taste: like the aroma, citrus is dominant, grapefruit, orange, malt. Bitter finish. Very lively carbonation (too much), thin bodied and a slightly sticky oily texture. A fresher bottle might be nicer (was consumed after its BB date).

Hazy gold beer, big fluffy white head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light malts, mildly sweet. Well presented Citra hop here - pink grapefruit, lesser yellow grapefruit, orange. Touches of citric peel and lemon. Light dry finish. A light and tasty IPA.
