440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.5%. Black colour, minimal tan head. Moderate aroma of roast malts, coconut and chocolate. Moderately sweet flavour of roast malts, coconut and cocoa / chocolate, some coffee and bittering hops in the aftertaste.

440ml can, L3623, from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Shared with Finn. Coal black body under a fawn-coloured head. Tiny spots on the glass. Coconuts and chocolate aromas. Coconut taste, not overdone, added by chocolate. Roasted malt driven end. Fine depth. Pleasing without further excitements. (Bergstua, Malangen, 18.06.2020).

Can. Almost opaque dark brown beer, a short lived bubbly dark tan head. Smooth palate, slightly soft and viscous. Good fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Rich dark chocolate malts. Chocolate cake and chocolate fudge. Coconut is quite light but does provide a sweetening element. Minerally crisp finish. Slightly bitter chocolate linger. Not quite the sumptuous treat i was hoping for but it’s not a million miles away.

Can picked up from Buxton Brewery website, consumed at home Attenkirchen, Bavaria, Sunday 28th July 2019. Listening to Bodega and still cooking Moussaka in the Wood Oven. This is very good, it has a little tartness but plenty of coconut shining through, it tastes stronger than 8.5%. Thick in the mouth, smooth. Very good.
