Brewed with plenty of pilsner and wheat malt, smooth, full bodied, crisp and frothy! A little sweet with a pleasant zing from the lemon juice. The perfect refresher! If you thought you liked a cold lager in the sun, wait until you've tried this. To top it all off, it's vegan friendly!

(Draught at Mother Kelly's Tap Room, Bethnal Green, London, 26 July 2019) Hazy dark golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, lemon peel and peaches. Malty, fruity taste with notes of bread, citrus, peaches and a sweetish finish with low bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Soft and refreshing. Quite nice.

I don't know why I had any doubt about this beer.. it's North, has to be good. And it is. Classic Kölsch, super crisp, light, with a thick head of foam. Some hop bitterness gives it a bite. Add some lemon, giving it more freshness, lovely light citrus.

Tap @ Uiltje Freshfest. Blonde. Just a hint of grass in the aroma. Malty yet dry flavor with lemon. Decent

On tap, pours a clear gold with some bright, white head. Nose has lemon, malt, tea. Flavor is very different, herbal tea, lemon, yeast. Dry finish.

Can, picked up at the brewery tap. Green tinged gold. Very light haze. Fairly sturdy, lasting, white head. Nose has soapy lemon. Creamy malts. Bready yeast. Touch of hop spice. Taste is pretty sweet, with some lemon acidity. Medium body. Feels a bit flabby. Light carbonation. Dry and lemon bitterness to finish. A rare miss from this brewer.

440ml can. Clear golden, big white head. Aroma of lemon, grass. Taste is much like a radler, huge amount of zesty juicy lemon, grassy, malts, bready, quite sweet. Medium body.

Keg at HL1, 14/06/19. Clear golden blonde with an off white cap. Nose is lemon rind, grass, radler vibes, straw. Taste comprises further shades of radler, lemon, toasted grains, airy malts, light breads, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp close. Ok refresher if a touch 1D.

Keg at Hop Locker. Sweet slightly yeasty aroma. Perhaps a hint of lemon drops rather than the real thing. Bright gold. Creamy translucent white head. Light-medium bitter with a definite lemon tang. Sweetness to the finish. Light bodied. Thin but slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. Not too bad. Just not that interesting and actually quite dry so not overly refreshing.
