Van Vonk. Bleekgeel. Flink zuur, druiven, citroensap, droge witte wijn, iets zwavelig, licht funky. Goed spul.

Bottle. Interesting blend of Macabeo grapes macerated with wild yeast in Oedipus white ale Offline and their Berliner Weisse Vogelen. Color: Hazy yellowish golden, thin but dense and long lasting white head. Nice lacing. Aroma: Tart, vinuous, grapes, funky. Taste: Moderate tart and moderate sweet fighting for attention, also light to moderate bitter. Vinuous, tart white grapes, some citrus and some farmyard funk. Dry mouthfeel, fruity finish. Medium body, low carbonation. Once again a nice Studio Oedipus experiment, although I've tasted better grape ales, in my opinion.

0.375 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', bottled in February 2019. Almost clear, pale golden with a thin, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, gently fruity and slightly funky aroma of lemon, wood, barnyard, some gooseberry and a touch of hay. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently sour, rather fruity, vinous and a bit funky taste of lemon, gooseberry, oak and traces of hay, followed by a short, gently sour, fairly woody-dry, quite vinous finish. Thin to medium body, gently astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Smells a bit weird but the taste is nicely fresh, fruity and vinous. Nice!
