Oak-aged, rustic blended saison.

Complex, Brett-forward saison brewed in friendship with Norfolk farmhouse brewery, Duration and aged in American and French oak barrels. Initial juicy, tropical fruit flavours lead into rich and complex body with notes of leathery Brett before a wood-forward, dry finish.

Last gathering of the year for the Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group, upstairs in Chez Sophie 21st Dec 2020. Cheers Mike for the 375ml bottle of this: BBE Jul 2022. Misty pale yellow body, white crust. Brett and sour fruits rule this brew, throw in a dirty farmyard to drink it in and you'll be right happy!

Keg at Craftsman Company. It pours very lightly hazy pale yellow - gold with minimal head. The aroma is musty, earth, funk, hay, barnyard, spice, sponge cake, biscotti, soft fruity vibes, yellow plum and greengage. The taste is crisp, dry, musty, funky, barnyard, hay, wood, light spice, twist of citrus, grapefruit, candied lemon, grass, some quince and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A decent drop. Interesting and quaffable.
