Bottle from Gift Times, Bourton-on-the-Water. Brown with a beige head. Caramel up front followed by stewed plums, toffees, a hint of metal and some dry autumn leaves. Sweetish. It's ok.

Mini gathering at Chez Sophie on Sunday 26th July 2020. Cheers Glen for the 500ml bottle of this to share (BB 2nd Dec 2020). My sweet tooth liked this brew. Poured an amber colour, with a red hue, off-white affair on top. Caramalt feel to the whole beer, some berry like notes too, late bitterness for a bit of balance.

Bottle shared at RB mini-gathering, Shrewsbury (thanks Glen) I’m afraid the nose evaded my limited sense of smell here. Never mind, it poured a murky brown anyway. Taste was malts, caramel, gravy and a hint of ginger. Some bitterness in the finish. Reasonable – but forgettable.

500ml bottle @ Chez Sophie Mini-RateBeer gathering, July 2020. Thanks to Glen for this (I think). Deep amber pour, off-white head. Leafy malty sweet nose. A bit thin and tinny overall but an appealing caramel sweetness starts to emerge alongside a gentle bitterness. Ok red ale.

Botte from Brendan's Brewtique, Bristol. Reddish-copper in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. A malty beer, with caramel, red berries and a yeasty edge, before a moderately bitter finish. So so.
