Dry, earthy, tangy. Quite unlike any cider I've had before. Very nice

Bottle split at the 'fuck me it's Kenny; tasting, picked up from an online peddler of who I can't recall - Watford, 25/06/21. Clear pale yellow to blonde with a decent white head as it goes for a perry or cider. Nose is waxed pair, grass, straw, apple pulp, quince essence. Taste comprises tangy pear, light funky apple, more waxy tones, figgy notes, orchard wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Not bad at all ... just a touch on the waxy side.

Aroma is spicy pollen, straw, pollen, nettle, lemon. Grass. Quince. Palate is sharp and tangy zesty, dry finish,. Flavour is composed of dry tangy, pithy. Woody, bark, really quite unique, pollen, quince, lemon rind, pear.

20/6/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear deep gold with a small bubbly white head. Hugely punchy quince aroma, with lemon meringue, flowers, paraffin, fruit pie, and a touch of herb. Light sweetness and medium tartness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Wow.

750ml bottle from Pilton. Yellow golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of quince, fuel, solventy. Taste is sweet and tart, mellow and astringent, quince juice and vegetal, fruity and fleshy, woody and solvent hints, with some underying quincey fruitiness and sourness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, dry fruity quincey sourish finish. Very sippable.

375ml bottle. Clear golden yellow appearance, strong riesling like aroma, petrol, rich quince. Taste brings a blossoming array of vibrant quince with an oily wine-like palate. Exceptional crystal clear quince notes. Excellent sipper.
