A dark ruby ale with aromas of roasted chocolate, sweet biscuit and dried fruit. Our little secret – it’s alcohol free. Hence its name ‘Wheesht’, from the old Scottish slang for quiet (something us Scots find near impossible). All thanks to the crafty innovation of our master brewers.

Hops: Amarillo, Apollo, Eureka, Ekuanot
Lager Malt, Chocolate Wheat, Pinhead Oats, Rye Malt, Acidulated Malted Barley, Cerex (malt extract)

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear brown with a thin beige head. Aroma's not great. Kind of a generic alcohol free vibe. Taste is better, some coffee and raisin detectable. Thin finish.

33cl bottle from Factory foods.
Thin creamy beige head. Clear deep amber pour. A bit malty but not bad for an alcohol free beer

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Clear amber/brown body with a beige head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of coffee and roasted malt. Flavour of earth and berries. Thin body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A alcohol free beer that stands out from the crowd.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - deep amber, big billowy slighty off-white head. Nose - raisins and plums, brown bread. An edge of chocolate. Taste - burnt this time. Bourbon cream and burnt toast. Palate - bitter finish, after light sweetness at the beginning. Lght bodied. Overall - decent considering the style.

0.33 l bottle from 'Drinks & Gifts', best before January 2021. Clear, ruby with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently herbal-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of caramel, prunes, licorice root and hints of wort. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently herbal-spicy and slightly fruity taste of prunes, licorice root, tea leaves, some caramel and a touch of wort, followed by a short, gently bitter, quite herbal-spicy and a bit worty finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really decent NA beer.

Bottle thanks to my bro. It pours deep brown with a small bubbly tan head. The aroma is earthy, toasty, coffee, nuts, molasses, plum and dark fruits. The dry, quite bitter, burnt toast, light ash, woody, liquorice, coffee grounds, malted biscuit and tannin with a dry, burnt toast finish. Light body and soft carbonation. Ok for what it is. A bit burnt feeling though.
