Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is funky and fruity with pineapple, citrus, spicy notes, grain, tart stone fruits, lemon, light ginger and green chili. Flavour is tart and moderate sour with a light chili burn. Body is medium. Fascinating and quite tasty 'exotic' Wild Ale, a lot going on here.

Sampled at THT. Almost clear golden with short lasting fizzy white head. Lime, soft herbs, white wine, lemon, soft funk and lactic sourness, light grains, soft ginger, a touch of hot peppers, green leaves, grassy. Just medium sour and light sweet and bitter. Just medium bodied with fizzy carbonation and slight chili burn.

23 February 2019. (Tasting formerly known as) RBBWG. Cheers to all, thanks Kraddel for the hospitality! Clear yellow, quickly thinning off-white head. Aroma of unripe mango, pineapple juice, sourdough, wheat, lemon, expired yoghurt, grain, straw. Taste is medium fruity sour, notes of pineapple juice, unripe apricot & lemon peel on a yeasty & sourdough-like base, next to sweetish notes of apple & mango, making way for a light grassy bitterness with spices, pepper & weirdly even yellow bell pepper. Dry, tart, lactic finish, bit spicy, more sourdough & pineapple. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Missed out on an explicit chili note, guess I got the pineapple at least. Quite good.
