(Draft at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 17 Sep 2025) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, herbs, pine needles and resin. Hoppy taste with citrus, herbs, resin, pine needles, white bread and a generous citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, dry. Solid and well made pale ale, with a generous hop presence. Very nice.

Lys gul klar med hvitt skum. Lukter sitrus og noe grapefrukt. Middels fylde. Smaker smør, sitrus og brød. Kort.

Bottle from the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Light gold with the slightest haze and a full off-white head. Vanilla, orange peel, some cooking spice on the aroma. Sweet and slighrly jammy taste with light notes of pepper. Grounded bitter hop in the finish. Heavy carbonation. Nice!

500ml bottle. Hazy pale golden, huge creamy white head with great retention. Aroma of coconut, herbs. Taste is very coconutty, citrus, lemongrass, herbal, light sweet and creamy, low bitterness. Medium body. Another great Kernel pale, fresher bottle might push this to being my favourite one.

Bottle at Lords watching England remove Ireland for 38, thanks to Rilester, 26/07/19. Hazed golden orange with a white cap. Nose is citric pith, lemon rind, melon, airy malts, lime leaf. Taste comprises orange zest, hop spice, grass, lick of lime, grapefruit, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy to leafy hop bitterness. Another solid beer from the Sabro stable.

Bottle from Beer Ritz. It pours hazy yellow - gold with a thick, triumphant white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, zingy, lovely lemony vibes, balm, lemon curd, lemongrass, pine and kick of fresh mint. The taste is crisp, dry, decent bitterness, refreshing lemon vibes, lemongrass, lemon verbena, pine, floral, daisies, honeysuckle, grass, a touch herbal and peppery spice with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, velvety carbonation. Something rather special. Hops provide a rather unique character paired with a clean malt base. Outstanding.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Grapefruit, lemon, herbs, orange and hints of coconut in the aroma. Hoppy and slightly zesty taste with grapefruit, melon, lemon, dill and coconut milk detected. An intriguing hop is this one.

Bottle at home picked up from the brewery. A mostly clear bright yellow golden coloured pour with a lasting pure white head. Aroma is insanely good, floral citrus lemon with lavender notes, white grape, light bready grains. Flavour is composed of clean soft bready malt, unique hop character, floral citrus, white grape, hints of sorachi in the tail, with some zippy lemon as well. Palate is semi sweet, soft and gentle carbonation, Super crushable. No one bar none can showcase a hop like kernel can. Spectacular beer and a wonderful unique hop.
