Bottle. Beer Ritz, Leeds. Hazed, honey gold. Thick and dense, lasting, semi lacing, glossy white head. Streams of lively, fine bubbles. Nose has lemon balm. Tangerine. Peach. Pineapple. Creamy vanilla. Hint of coconut cream, in a similar way to Sorachi. Dry and clean malt backdrop. Taste is semi sweet, with a crisp, citrus bitterness. Medium body. Full, foamy carbonation. Light fruity bitterness, with a dryish close rounds it up. Out of the ordinary and very nice pow wow.

Sabro = HBC438. Light haze on this yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and light, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, silky sweet. Smooth light pine. A modest Sorachi lemon vibe with smooth piney tropical fruits undertone that for me is a cornerstone of this hop. Light floral orange and tangerine. Smooth finish. Marvellous stuff. I really hope Kernel do a single hop IPA with Sabro. Or even a dipa! Grab Sabro hopped beers and enjoy now before these become mass cultivated and a pale shade of what they used to be like other HBC hops, Mosaic, Ekuanot and to a lesser extent, Citra.

5.1% Bottle from the brewery in Bermondsey and drunk at home. Pours hazy gold colour lasting cream head. Light tropical fruits on the aroma. A tropical herb flavour. Good bitterness on the finish Very juicy. Good fruit flavours. Quite intense tropical fruit. I liked it. Even a bit of Sorachi Ace flavour of pineapple and touch of coconut with a little sherbet

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine, brioche and peach. Flavour of dried grass, white bread and lemon sponge. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A top quality beer.

Bottle at home in Hackney - huge thanks to Fergus. Pours mostly clear honey-gold with a dense, frothy, pure white head. Wow, exceptionally drinkable, has some nice lemongrass character, a little dry pale bread, pithy grapefruit and lemon, mild bitter straw, pine needles. Light bodied with delicate, massaging carbonation. Smooth finish, more citrus fruits, soft grassy notes, understated bready pale malts. Just gorgeous.
