Peach, Apricot & Raspberry Triple-Fruited Sour
Kicking back on your yacht, your perm blowing slightly in the breeze, as the palm trees sway from side to side. This is an Espadrille state of mind.
We have had a lot of fun brewing our seasonal sour series but with Espadrille we wanted to experiment with taking this style up a few notches, adding as much fruit as we could squeeze in there. Peach, raspberry and apricot join forces in this triple fruit jackpot cocktail. The result is as tart as you would expect from a berliner weiss, but with even more fruity body and flavour.
An Espadrille state of mind, a sunshine state of mind.
The label? It’s plants on pink, sweetheart, #plantsonpink

Can, 4.6%. Citric aroma, slightly fruity. Cloudy orange golden colour. Fizzy unstable white head. The flavour is citric, lactic with a dry finish. Ok fruity, but with low sweetness.

Can at home picked up from Caps and Taps. A translucent peachy orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is peachy yougurt, fuzzy apricot, loose wheat, doughy, tangy. Flavour is composed of tangy peach, fuzzy, yougurt funk, doughy wheat, little veg cucumber, hint of oxidisation. Palate is tangy, prickly highish carbonation. Decent fruit character. Solid.

Tap at the Kings Arms, pours pulpy ruby red grapefruit with just a ring of white head. Nose has raspberry seltzer, some passion fruit, lime. Flavor is a bit flight, more raspberry seltzer, some sweet grapefruit, lime, maybe a little cranberry. A bit simple. Finishes dry with high carbonation.

Can big thanks to my bro. It pours hazy milky pink with a small foamy white head. The aroma is bright, tart, tangy, raspberry, peach, nectarine, guava, yellow plum, sour cabdy, sherbet and dull funk. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, puckering, raspberry, peach, persimmon, sour candy, fizzy cola bottles, minerals and a touch of yoghurt with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Decent, easy going fruity vibes.

Keg at the Experiment - Hackney. Pours hazy pink with a frothy, white head. Lovely beer, nicely authentic tart fruit character, restrained acidity, peach, lemon. Light bodied with average carbonation. Quenching finish, tart and still a bit juicy. Great stuff.
