(Draft at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 22 Feb 2025) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, rhubarb, funky yeast and oak wood. Fruity, tart taste with rhubarb, citrus, flowers, herbs, oak wood and a mild citric/herbal bitterness. Medium body, dry. Fresh and tasty, with lots of tart rhubarb. Very nice.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is rhubarb, touch of dark berries, lemon, oak, soft herbal notes, gooseberries, and grass. Flavour is tart, moderate sour, lightly bitter. Body is medium. Plenty going on as usual with Nevel.

Bottle opened while grilling salmon. Golden, small head, lightly fruity farmhouse nose. Super flavor, moderately store with good complexity and a lot of aromatic fruit notes. Rhubarb makes sense though i wouldn't have guessed it. Light woody notes noticeable. Tasty one! Let's see how it goes with salmon.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a small, white head. Distinct Brett aroma paired with some acetobacter. Medium body, very tart with all of the above while I don't really cath any of the fruit. Tart and dry finish. 190623
