Bottle picked up from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at Premier Inn, Cheltenham, Friday 2nd January 2018 Pours black as yer at with a head that swiftly departs. Wonderfully soft in the mouth, a little chill edge you don't notice this immediately, it's a slow burner. Plenty of coffee and it's smooth with a little chocolate. This is a lovely beer A8 A4 T9 P4 Ov16 4.3

On tap at The Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Black beer lasting tan head. Tarry molasses aroma. It's a decent impy stout. Too cold. Decent mid dark chocolate flavour. It's decent enough. Drank it fairly quickly so must have been good. A little thin fizzy cold but flavours of dark chocolate blackcurrant were good.

330 ml bottle from Beergium, bb 05/09/20.
Black body, with a medium, creamy, stable, lacing, tan head.
Aroma of cocoa powder, hazelnut, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, some tobacco, slight dark fruits.
Tastes quite similar, but with the slightly cloying vanilla more present, subtle peppery spiciness.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes warm, roasty, medium sweet, a bit wooden, with milk chocolate, nuts, vanilla, some coffee, subtle soy sauce.
Very nice, while not outstanding. Rich and dense and especially the nose is really lovely. Taste isn't fully balanced though, the sweetness is a bit too heavy for me, with the vanilla dominating. Overall not among my favourite Omnipollo stouts, while still a very good sipper.

Bottle from Drinks & Gifts, BB 05/09/20. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of lots of different stuff, peppers, cacao, vanilla, bit smokey meat, some roast, mocha. Lots of stuff together, but it doesnt really blend. Taste is massive sweet vanilla and chocolate, together with huge roast and coffee bitterness. Finishes with a bite from the chilies. Its the typical over the top Omnipollo@Proef brew, but this time it feels too much with all the different flavors that never seem to blend very well. I can enjoy it, but minuspoints for being all over the place.
