This DIPA was brewed with Apex Brewing Company who visited us at the beginning of March (a lifetime ago). We hopped this beer with Mosaic, El Dorado, Nelson Sauvin and Columbus for allll the juice and then added homemade oat cream to the boil for an extra soft mouthfeel.

Can at home in the sun, 10th July 20. Pours a light hazy orange. Aroma is satsuma and tangerine. Taste is satsuma, tinned orange, sherbert, smooth, soft, floral and aromatic and light bitter. Wow this is a dangerous beer, drinks more like a 5 to 6 percenter, maybe I’m thirsty but I’ve drowned this in 20 minutes. Great beer

Canned fruity flavours, moments of pineapple and orange. Moderate notes of pine needles to the ending. Savoury and refreshing outside at the sunny balcony. (Tromsø 06.06.2020).

Can. Light haze on this yellowish gold beer, decent white head. Smooth palate, slightly soft but with reasonable fine carbonation coming through on the back end. Light malts, perhaps a touch thin but they do their job and provide enough sweetness to balance the hops. A little white wine spritzer here, which implies the Nelson hops are some of the better ones than have been doing the rounds for some years. Semi sweet pine. A touch of El Dorado cherry blossom if you know it might be there, pretty certain I would not have picked it up blind. Smooth and slightly floral orange finish. Good stuff.
