Wetherspoon Autumn Beer Festival 2019. Cask @ Waterhouse, Manchester. Golden with a small glow and a creamy head. It has a deeper hoppy taste and an underlying caramel sweetness, which makes it thick texture-wise.

Third, cask ale, festival beer at Opera House (JDW). Shared with Finn. Amber-reddish body, dotted spots on the glass. Missing head. Smell of sourish marmalade. Vinegar touch to a malt-fruity taste profile. Not in its best condition, almost gone. (Tunbridge Wells 18.10.2019).

Cask-conditioned, at the Postern Gate, (JDW), York October 2019. Deep amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Some leafy hops, caramel, stone fruits, ripe malts and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A mostly clear reddy amber coloured pour with a fading beige head. Aroma is decent jammy fruits, strawberry jam. Toffee, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, toffee, butterscotch, burnt sugars, dishwater, thin. Dried fruits. Ok. Palate is semi sweet, thin, ok condition.

Cask at Archibald Simspons. It pours clear amber with a medium foamy beige head. The aroma is toasty grain, grass, floral, some sweet stone fruit, dried apricot and berry. The taste is drying, bitter - sweet, dried apricot, peachy, berry, floral, straw, grassy and some grainy action with a drying and peppery finish. Average body and fine, foamy carbonation. Some interesting fruity vibes, but it's also a bit grainy. Fair.

Hand-pulled cask pint on 9th Oct 2019, my first beer of the Wetherspoon's 2019 Autumn Beer Festival (Thomas Botfield, Telford Town Centre). Amber pour, lasting white crown with lacing, so in good condition. The nose held orchard fruits and grainy notes, the taste also fruity with malty/grainy flavours for balance. Hops also gave off a mild piney hint or two.

Cask at Tanners Hall JDW Darlington. Orangey amber colour, white foam head with alittle lacing and aroma of malt & grain. Taste is malty, lots of caramel, butterscotch, slightly biscuity with some tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK
