The assemblage majors on bitter-sweet apples with just a hint of sweet varieties, such as Carting, Sweet Moen and Belle Fille de la Manche, all native to the centuries-old orchards of Normandy. Light fermentation preserves the natural floral aromas and yields a lower alcohol level.

Medicine bottle from doctor Benway, thanks. Almost clear orangey golden with short lived white head. Sweet and dry bitter apple peels. Slightly wet earthy and ground found apples. Rich on applejuicy fruitsugariness but also a very light sickly nuttiness and some treebark, slightly forest mossyness. Quite sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation, light creamy and barky wooden feel.

Bottle shared at sjogro’s. Almost clear golden with a small ring of bubbles, dry apple peel, apple juice, soft finger paint, oaky, dry dried herbal notes, wet earthy. About medium sweet, light bitter. Over light bodied with medium dry finish. Quite drinkeable and fairly decent.

330ml bottle from Beer Zoo. Golden colour, large white foam head that quickly dissipates away and juicy apple aroma. Taste is sweet, apple, juicy with hints of vanilla, caramel and some tannin. Light to medium bodied, slightly spritzy carbonation, semi-dry finish. Quite drinkable

Boks fra Gulating Stavanger, delt med Ovesen under mesking av ny esb: klar gylden med ok skum. Kompleks og lekker aroma og smak - her dufter og smaker det som en hel eplehøst. Rund og deilig, særdeles lett å drikke samtidig som jeg nyter hver slurk. Men glasset blir allikevel fort tomt...

Nice fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, apple cores, minerals, sour grass, apple juice, sorrel, apple peel, flowers, hay, plastic. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, apple juice, minerals, apple peel, grass, sugar, salt, plastic, paper, hay, apple cores, flowers. Strange sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough.

330 ml stubby bottle, from Helgø MENY Sola. ABV is 4.0%. Golden colour, pours sparkling with a shortlived white head. Pleasant aroma of cider apples and sweet dessert apples, hints of oak and sulphites. Medium sweet flavour, dessert apples more than cider apples. Hints of oak and sulphites in the finish.
