--> Sehr gelungenes Rauchbier!!

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Smokey malt aroma. Chestnut brown colour with an off white had. Medium body. Average carbonation. Smoked cheese taste to finish. OK but not one of my favoured styles.

Bottle at GBBF 2012 - London. Pours clear brown with a moderate, creamy white head. Nice smoked malt nose, some rocks, mild fire. Medium sweet flavor with toasty leaves giving some bitterness, nice caramel and smokey malts. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Smokey finish with light ham, mild minerals, dry caramel. Excellent rauch.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 02.01.2013
Aroma is smoky with tar and hints of grainy malt. Flavour is slightly sweet with smoke, tar, some woody notes and grainy malt. Somewhat foamy and sticky palate. Another fine beer from Göller!

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark, nice head. Starts fine malty, intese smokey notes, dry background. Then less smokey more roasty, well balanced, soft-malty. Mild-bitter. Nice!

500ml bottle. Clear darkest copper colour with average to huge, macropore to frothy, collapsing, off-white head. Moderately sweet caramel malty aroma with intense smokey notes. Taste is smokey, minimally dry hoppy, only decently malty, a bit watery.

Bottle from Corks of Cotham, Bristol. Medium brown in colour with a billowy, off-white head. Sweet, caramel, berry fruit and wood smoke aroma. Flavour had more sweet malts and fruit, some demerara sugar and a hint of bacon, Before a dryish, smoky finish. Very good.

50cl Bottle via Bierkoning, thanks Edo! Deep dark reddish brown, almost black colour, dense off-white head that disappears. Aroma of full on hammy smoke at first, sweet malts, rye, later also some unpleasant vegetable and meaty notes. Flavour is malty sweet, not sugary, smoked ham, salty, meaty, vegetables, smokey finish with malty sweetness, light bitterness. Light-bodied. OK rauch.
