Bag in Box at Jacobs, Bradford. It pours clear yellow with no head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, powdery, ripe pear, pear drops, some tartness and candy. The taste is dry, slick, almost tart, slick, bitter, juicy, oily pear, tangy and some tannin with a slick, tangy finish. Medium body, flat and oily. Quite nice tangy pear character.

Calderdale Beer Festival 2017. Dryish tasting but its pear is stated enough in this cider.

Cask 1/3 pint, gravity dispense, at the 16th Twickenham Beer & Cider Festival, as Newton Court Winnals Longdon (don’t know if the spelling error is with RateBeer or the festival). Medium dry perry. ABV was 5.3%. Very pale yellow colour. Dryish aroma and flavour of pears.

BIB gravity at Banbury Beer Festival, Thursday 7th May 2015 Absolute corker wonderful bittersweet balance, just the right amount of fruitiness, tart and tangy an absolute belter of a Perry. A7 A4 T9 P4 Ov16 4.0

Bag in a box at the Gryphon’s cider festival, Bristol 8/07/2011. Pale green and flat. Light pear and citrus fruit aroma with a touch of wood. Flavour lemons and juicy pears with a medium dry finish. good.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2010, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.

Light unclear light to medium yellow color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate pear, sweet pear, sour pear, bread. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is flat. [20100806]

From cask. Pours hazy pale yellow with no head. Aroma is citric and perry fruity. Sweet, sugarish and mild citric perry fruity. Sweet and citric finish.

Cask@GBBF2010. Yellowish golden colour, no head. Aroma is pear, some mild spices as well. Flavour is apples, pear some sweetish wooden notes and mild sugary notes.

Plastic cask at GBBF 08. Perry aroma, slightly cheesy. Hazy gold with hint of green. Not hugely dry, some fruit sweetness. Stewed pears flavour and very drinkable. That’s good. Lovely fruit flavour.
