Delt med EgilB. Gyldenbrun. Skum langs glasset. Heftig ferskenaroma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken eksplosiv. Masse frukt - men drukner i alkoholsødme.Tørr avslutning. Over the top.

07.07.2019, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice bubbly-creamy longlasting head, cloudy light amber color. Aroma is sweet sour-ish boozy, wet grass, sap, minerals, alcohol, leafs, bark, wet grain, dusty hops, soil. Taste is sweet boozy, sap, sugar, wet grass, booze, bark, dusty harsh hops, wet leafs, harsh citrus peel, pine needles, soil. Longlasting harsh bitterness, sweet boozy mouthfeel. Horrible!

Shared bottle at home. Pours clear reddish amber with little off-white head. Aroma of caramel, ethanol, red berries, notes of sherry, herbs. Tastes very sweet with balancing bitterness, salt and umami. Oily mouthfeel, slightly bitter and alcoholic finish. We would rather call this an American Barley Wine instead of an IIIPA. Anyhow, a very special beer.

Expensive but highly addictive.
