Can from Thirst Class Ale Bottle Shop. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is ginger snaps, toffee, cola, light bourbon. Taste is dessicated coconut, cappuccino, vanilla, milk chocolate, almond, muscovado. Spicy warming finish.

Dark brown colour. Chocolate aroma, spirit. Thin, not enough body, tastes like chocolate and dirt, with spirit and some bourbon; buttery finish (no flaw, just the vanilla and barrel, I guess).
Simple and overpriced.

440ml @ Alex's shared with Ryan. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: barrel, caramel, butterscotch, dark fruits. Taste: along the same lines, quite thin. Overall: an ok one, lacks a body a lot. Another example of why I would generally prefer the BA stuff from North America and not from Europe.

Poured from 440mL can (bb 20/10/2023). Dark copper brown with small beige head. Needs to warm up a bit from regular fridge temperature. Woody bourbon notes, mild dried fruits, touch of alcohol. Okay.

440 ml can. Pours a dark reddish brown with full head. Aromas of woody bourbon and biscuity malts. Flavors of old oak, bourbon, bready malts and a bit of copper. A nice Wee Heavy well suited to the barrel.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, oak, vanilla, soya sauce, dried fruits and licorice. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, oak, vanilla and dried fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9.0%. Black colour, moderate to small tan head. Distinct aroma of bourbon whiskey, roast malts, vanilla and oak. Smooth mouthfeel, moderately warming. The flavour is indeed "heavy on the bourbon", same elements as the aroma. Aus der Dose im 2020-04 getrunken. Dieses WeeHeavy mit Bourbon Fasseinfluss kommt sehr süffig daher. Leider etwas zu süffig denn der Körper ist für 9,0% Alkoholgehalt viel zu schwach. Es wirkt eher verwässert. Ansonten finden sich Aromen eines typischen WeeHeavys.
