Can from lowcostbeer, consumed 1 month past BBE. Pours a light hazy gold with moderate sized white head which receeds fairly quickly. Aroma of grass, flora, banana, clove. Quite subtle hefeweizen elements of wheat, banana, clove. What is more memorable is the building semi-dry finish of yeastiness, light tang meets grassy bitterness. Fairly average example of the style but still very drinkable.

On tap at Howling Hops Tap room Ashford. Hazy golden brown colour lasting white head. Light hefe. Some long some herb some yeast character. Light banana. OK lemon on finish. Very light .

Cloudy, bready, smooth, fruit, hop. This is basically a wheat beer archetype. That's not a failing, I love a wheat beer, it's just not anything special.

Keg at The Alma, Islington, Wednesday 7th March 2018 in the company of Dad, Barry and Scott. I find this a touch watery and the carbonation is lacking, This just tastes a bit thin to me, ok it's a bit wheaty, fruity, but other than that, lacking a bit. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

The Alma. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer, good white head. Light palate, mildly dry and minerally crisp. Thin malts, a light wheaty sweetness. Banana esters. Very light piney orange and lemon. Light dry crisp finish. Drinkable and clean.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours murky pink with a frothy, white head. The nose holds lemon and raspberry. Light sweet flavour, with nice berry puree character, subtle citric tang. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Balanced finish, with some fruit juice, more raspberry, melon. Good fun. Well executed.

Keg at The Alma. It pours hazy pale yellow with a massive foamy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, earthy, spicy, sweat banana, candy, marshmallow, sugar mice. The taste is crisp, dry, earthy, bready, wheat, quite fruity, apple, pear, green banana, candy, clove and icing sugar with a soft banana finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent for the style.

Keg at the Alma, 30/10/17. Hazed golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is yeast esters, straw, lemon peel, grains. Taste comprises banana, caramel, clove, light spice, breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. OK.
