Cask at The Farmer’s Arm Inn, King’s Lynn, July 2012
Light amber color. Mild aroma, with a lemony trace. Light body, simple flavour, with good bitterness and light lemon trace; the final is correctly bitter, maybe too dry. Simple but refreshing enough.

Cask at the Bishop’s Finger - Smithfield, London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a fine, creamy head. Light citrusy hops in the nose, fine biscuity pale malts. Light sweet flavor with mellow orange rind, other pithy citrus, restrained pale malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fair balance onthe finish, slight leafy bitterness, further dry citrus, touhes of dry, pale malte. Nothing that wrong here, although the character is on the wimpy side.

6th August 2008. On tap at GBBF. Well balanced beer but can’t find anything else to say about this bland but inoffensive beer.

Cask at the Nut Tree, Murcott, Oxon 08-02-09 Stated 3.5% on the pumpclip. Pours warm gold with white head. Aroma is quite hoppy which is not as noticeable in the mouth though it must be noted I did a few hoppy burps during the consumption of this, so there must have been a few in there. Some citrus flavours and reasonable bitterness. I wouldn’t have been bothered with another one of these that said it was a fine enough session beer. A6 A4 F6 P3 OV11 3.0

Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol, 6/2/09. Deep gold in colour with next to no head. Sweetish aroma and flavour, with some citrus fruit and a surprisingly spicy hoppy kick in the finish. Ok for the ABV.

Half pint, hand pulled at Barony Bar. A few patches on the surface over a golden body. Floral fruity smell. Rounded and fresh taste of hops. Good cask ale for its low 3.5% ABV [On a rainy day in Edinburg, 25.10.2008].
