V9 features the indefatigable Citra with its intense mango punch. To complement these tropical notes we added El Dorado for some tangerine tang, and relative newcomer Idaho7 which exudes peachy stone fruit. As usual, the spoon that stirs the fruit salad is London Ale III yeast.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is ripe fruits, orange, hops, mango, tropical notes, oats, tangerine, apricot. Flavour is fairly sweet and mild bitter. Body is medium. Very nice, bittersweet, lots of ripe sugary fruits, fruity hops.

Can sourced from Beerdome (25/02/2021) - hazy golden orange with a white head. Tropical stone fruit medley with mango, peach, nectarine, some pine needles, citrus peel, hop spice, medium body, robust finish. Lovely.

Blik thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel oranje geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een fruitige en zoete geur. De smaak is fruitig, vol, mango en passievruchten met een wat hoppige afdronk.

¨Pours dark, muddy orange/amber . Small , stable, creamy white head. Smell has milder-than-expected hops. Creamy, right kind of yeasty aroma's and malts. NE, but less hopforward. Taste is fairly full, rather creamy. Yeasty. Very mild bitterness. perhaps a touch of hopburn. decent, but not more than that .

3 weeks after canning. Pours a murky/dirty orange colour and a frothy white head with a little retention. Aroma's: dank hops, fruity, light citrus, light onion. Retronasal it's dank, sweetish, sweet fruit. Flavour is light moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Finish is grainish and light bitter.

Can. Color: Very hazy-orange, like orange juice, thin white head. Aroma: Grassy, hop, tangerine and some tropical fruit notes. Taste: Very smooth, tangerine, grassy and slightly pine hopbitterness. Beside of tangeringe also some notes of peach, apricot, mango, orange and other tropical fruit. Above moderate bitterness with decent wheat malt background. Bittery palate at finish. Pretty dense. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Slightly boozy. Long lasting fruity bittersweet finish. Another nice Barbarian, mybe a little bit sweeter than previous version although it's hard to compare while not tasting together.
