Keg @ Piccadilly Tap, Manchester. Clody pale orange-yellow with a thin head. Some citrus, slightly sour too, with a small dry fizziness in the palate. Not high on aroma.

From keg at Ship & Mitre, one-third pint. Muddy orange coloured body under a tiny white head. Semi-dry, fruit hoppy nose. Fruity flavours on a backbone of wheat and dough followed by yeasty fruitiness to the finish. About satisfying (Liverpool 31.01.2015).

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours hazy pale gold, thin white head. Aromas are cheesy, funky hops. Sherbet. Taste is lemon sherbet, more funk. Dry finish. Not great.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Murky bronze body with a medium white head. Great lacing. Aroma of white pepper, red apple and vine tomatoes. Flavour of green apple laces, cloudy lemonade and a hint of banana. Bitter, tangy finish. Medium body with a creamy texture. Lively fizz. A sharp, interesting beer. I enjoyed this.

Bottle at Beer Rebellion thanks to Niall. It pours cloudy gold with a mass white head. The nose is fresh, orange peel, wheat, dough, tangerine and lemon poppy seed muffin. The taste is crisp, bitter, wheat, orange sherbet, doughy, toast, candied peel and soap with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Well balanced and very drinkable. Yum.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Hazy, golden colour. Thick, bubbly, lasting head. Wheaty. Ripe banana. Spice. Taste is light tart dry. Mouth cleansing, light astringent palate. The bitterness, at the end, lingers. Drinks below it’s ABV. A bit odd, but I liked it.

The Lyric. Keg. Cloudy gold beer, small white head. Palate starts smooth and turns minerally crisp .Wheaty malt followed by lemon peel, orange peel and a whisper of banana - bubblegum ester. Very light spice. Smooth finish. Remember Hoegaarden before mass production ruined it? This beer is like a stronger and more bitter version,
