Bottle from Adnams Cellar & Kitchen, Holt. Golden-amber with a white head and a light fizz. Tastes of cream, peach, raspberry, a hint of grass, white chocolate, malted milk biscuits and a light coffee roast. I haven't liked previous white stouts I've tried but this one is decent; tasty and interesting. Nice one Adnams and Yeastie Boys.

Bottle. From an Adnams Cellar and Kitchen, somewhere in Norfolk, a while ago. Pale gold. Almost clear. Film of white. Nose has white chocolate. Creamy malts. Hint of milky coffee. Taste is sweet. Some earthy bitterness. Light to medium body. Low carbonation. Some fruity bitterness comes through at the end.

Almost clear gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, soft, reasonable fine carbonation. Lagerish malts. Little citrus. Fair dose of vanilla. Floral vanilla. Light semi dry finish. Not hating this but it is a bit strange. Like a reasonably well hopped lager infused with vanilla.

Cask, at The Wharf. A clear, well, faintly hazy, golden colored beer with a small, bubbly, white head. Citrusy, passionfruity aroma with pine cones and a touch of pale malts. It's soft, dry and medium bodied with a low carbonation level. Pine cones, passionfruit notes, grapefruit and a light bready malt touch in the flavor. Good bitterness too..Long hop-fruity, lightly bitter finish. Sure a fine one, but I'd prefer it carbonated. 180224

Cask at the Henry Addington. A hazed golden straw coloured pour with a lasting frorhy white head. Aroma is rustic grains, spicy wheat, little grassy citrus. Flavour is composed of doughy wheat, little rustic straw, lemon rind. Palate is grainy, frothy moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Cask at Rake, small stable creamy head, clear and intense yellow color, flavor of nuts, white chocolate and some real vanila, mellow light to medium bitterness, white chocolate aroma with butter and real vanila hints and brioche maltiness behind. Unusual but really good.
