Can. An orangey-brown beer with a nice beige head. Some lacing. The aroma has nuts, caramel, some dried fruits and an earthy, fruity touch most likely caused by the yeast. Quite roasted too. It feels almost thin on the palate, and perhaps a tad gentle on the carbonation, with a mostly dry mouthfeel. Some bitterness joining in too, especially in the very end. Roasted malts, caramel, some nuts and dried fruits and a lightly chocolatey touch in the flavor. Some more focus on the yeast impact in the finish. I'd like more mouthfeel and some more carbonation in this one, but at least the drinkability is superb. 201207

Aroma is roasted malts with bread and chocolate, as well as notes of smoke, leather, farmhouse notes and fruity yeast. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with dark bread, chocolate and dark fruits, as well as leather, earthy farmhouse notes and wooden kveik.

Two 330ml cans bought at Vinmonopolet, Hamar. Shared with Dag Erik and Leif. Cloudy brown body with a reddish share. Filmy layer, crocheted lacing. Inviting mid-sweet malt-driven aromas, toffee to the fore. Brown malty flavours of caramel, bread, earth, and a integrated bite of kveik. Hints of dark fruits to the ending. Fine bodied. Likable. (Hamar 27.02.2020).

Can @ Bakgården. Unclear brown body with a moderate sized off-white head. Decent aroma of malt, toffee and bread. Taste is smooth malt, soft toffee, bread and a little fruity touch. Medium body and average length aftertaste with the same flavors. Nothing extraordinary, but a fine, smooth rather classic brown ale. The kveik is not notable for me.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Brown colour, off-white head. Aroma and flavour of lightly roasted malts, a hint of juniper (einerlåg?), a slight fruity acidity. Has kveik (farmhouse yeast) been used here?
