Keg pint at the Wrekin Inn, 15th June 2025, Fathers Day. Hazed golden body, white crust. Tropical fruit nose and taste, some pine action in there too, just a bit too citrusy for me.

Tap at Art & Craft CR0 24/11/2024 Medium sweet fruity and malty with some ripe citrusy grapefruit and satsuma, light peachy accents, semi sweet malty support with a piney balanced light bitter finish.

3 pints on keg at the Gidea Park Tap Room. Near clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth palate with good fine minerally carbonation bringing up the rear. Light smooth creamy sweet malts. Hops are a delight, soft cooling pine and a soft underlying hop skunk with the main show being a fairly broad spectrum of hoppy citrus and tropical fruits. Goes down very easy indeed. Packs a hoppy punch for a SIPA.

Cask at the Flower Pot, Derby bimble, 11/02/22. Lightly murky golden orange with a decent off white cap that escapes edgewards. Nose is ripe citric flesh, melon, grass, tangerine. Taste comprises bitter citric shreds, grass, soft malts, bread dough, tangerine, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness. Ok.

Cask at Seven Stars, Derby (not listed in RateBeer). Pours a bright copper with a small off-white head and good lacing. Malts to the fore in the aroma – plus some hints of nuts. Malts again upfront in the mouth, where the general sensation is bitter-sweet (oscillates between the two). Autumn fruits and mushy stewed apples are there too with a few hints of general spices. Finish is a little more bitter. This is OK, but doesn’t set the world alight.
