33cl Blik bij vandeStreek. Zwart, beige-bruine kraag. Zoet, pure chocolade, brownie, caramel, wat vanille, gebrande mout, niet heel gelaagd maar wel een fijn toetje. Medium body.

Canned 330ml. -Courtesy of hrabren, shared with him & Marko, thanks! Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate in the nose. Sweet malty, chocolate mousse, some sweet vanilla notes and discreet alcohol. As all three of us agreed one-dimensional but quite good brew.

Huge thanks Pit Vik and Hrabren and the brewer I guess! H shared it with Ogi and me. Murky dark brown, almost black body, with a disappearing beige head. Lovely, big aroma, basically straight Vindija chocolate pudding mixed with chcolate liqueur, alcohol can be noted once it warms. Lean chocolate liqueur and chocolate pudding taste with touches of alcohol - less than that Islay Weizenbock that's only 10% though! One-dimensional but nice really!

0.33 l can, huge thanks to Pit Vik. Shared with Ogi and Marko. Dark brown, small beige head. Intense chocolate and nutella aroma. Chocolate pastry. Alcoholic chocolate candy. Overwhelming. Sweet, heavy, slightly tart, not too sugary. Cocoa and chocolate aroma. Sticky. Alcohol quite hidden. A bit one sided.

17/II/22 - 33cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 31/V/25 (2022-190)

Clear black beer, big solid beige to brown head, unstable, falls down quickly, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very sweet impression, lots of fake vanilla notes, caramel, ersatz chocolate, lactose maybe, more caramel. MF: medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, lots of caramel, very dark chocolate, good roast, sweet and sugary, but also pretty bitter, vanilla notes, some chocolate as well. Aftertaste: still lots of dark caramel, some vanilla, alcohol, bit sweet, sugary, more dark caramel, chocolate, syrup, nice roast, bitter and hoppy finish, nice one!

Klasse!

Can from Geers. Cloudy black, thin, frothy, beige head. Aroma of brownie dough, cocoa nibs, vanilla custard, crème brûlée, mocha, candied fig. Taste has sweet fig & date wrapped in a very thick malty profile of chocolate & brownie, topped by cream with a nutty accent; bitter fondant & something ashy in the middle. Earthy hoppy finish, lingering coffee roast & melting fondant, powdery somewhat, with warming 'chocolate liqueur' alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Very tangible chocolate cake character, nice!
