0.33 l can from 'Ace Drinks', canned in September 2020. Black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly boozy and a little roasty aroma of caramel, nuts, chocolate, maple and bourbon. Rather sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of brownies, toasted nuts, bourbon, maple, caramel fudge and cocoa, followed by a long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly boozy finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty beer, very sweet but still balanced, the bourbon matches very well with the nutty aromas.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark chestnut colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Somehow slightly earthy, nutty, caramel malty aroma, notes of caramel, dark caramel, hints of maple sirup, a touch of vanilla. Taste is sweet, caramel malty, notes of caramel, dark caramel, maple sirup, a nuttily touch, whiffs of vanilla. Viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft, still efficacious carbonation. Not overly complex, but very harmonious, balanced and simply damn tasty - superb!

Bottle I've had lying around for a while and been looking forward. Pours very dark brown with a fine sheen of head. Aroma is malty, complex and loads of bourbon. Caramel, figs, prunes in the background. Big body and a smooth mouthfeel. Flavour is malty, complex and sweet. Loads of caramel, maple syrup, figs, prunes. Hints of cacao. Oak and vanilla, bourbon. Smooth bourbon makes this extremely round. Finishes long, sweet, slightly bitter, bourbon.

Bottle, 330 ml, shared with Miro B and Max. Dark brown, tan head. Chocolate, bit roasted, bourbon, light maple, sweet with lasting bitter finish. Medium bodied. Bourbon alcohol note standing out bit too much. Lacks thickness. Expected more really.

Draft at Brewdog Mcr. Pours opaque deep brown with a tan head. Maple, molasses, dried fruits, vanilla & oaky bourbon. Quite boozy. Medium to full body, soft carb. I think I prefer the base beer overall but this is pretty damn fine
