A light refreshing beer with pungent grapefruit, lychee and gooseberry aromas leading to a dry, bitter finish.

York Tap, Keg. Hazy gold beer, good white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a mild fine crispness. Very light malts. Hops bring a fresh and slightly spicy orange. But. Big but - it’s not as hop forward as the normal Citra. Curious and to be frank - disappointing. It’s a good beer but not as good as the base version. Light floral finish brings mild tangerine and milder minerals. Drinkable but far from special.

Keg at Queens Head, near Kings X. It pours clear gold with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, sweet tropical vibe, lemon sherbet, lychee, candied peel, straw and some grass. The taste is crisp, fresh, minerals, straw, grassy, orange, bright grapefruit, lemon peel and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp and crushable.

On tap at Tap East Stratford. Clear gold lasting white head. Really lovely and hoppy. It’s very good. A bit fizzy but love the fruit lemon grapefruit citrus. Just delightful.

Keg at the Euston Tap - London. Pours totally clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy, white head. Ripening citrus in the nose, some diesel, grapefruit, tangerine, pale bread. Light to medium sweet flavour with subtle piney bitterness, some grass, a little pine. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderately clean on the finish, with more grassy hops, light pine, citrus fruits, some bitter rind, biscuits, gasoline, hay. Pretty decent; although, I had high hopes for this one that weren’t met.
