Cask at Craft Clerko, 12/05/14. Dark chestnut brown with a moderate beige head that thins. Nose is nutty, biscuit malt, toffee, brown sugar. Taste comprises toffee, light smoke, candied fruit peel, brown sugar, bitter orange, light perfume. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Ok mild, carries some depth to the flavour although at 5% it should do, there are better 3% milds out there!

Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. ’Strong Ruby Mild’. Almost clear dark amber beer, no real head. Smooth palate, semi dry and low carbonation. Sweet malt with estery bubblegum and banana. Tangy dried fruits. Dry finish. A bit clunky but passes muster.

Very dark red with a good roasted aroma and taste, although this mild has a sweetness to it too.

Cask at the Bree Louise - London. Pours clear brown with a creamy tan head. Some nice chocolatey malts in the nose, light toast, hints of earth and dried fruits. Light to medium sweet flavor with brown bread and light toast. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, some sweet brown bread, light chocolate, some grapes. A good mild.
