Super is an amber beer with a fine, light hazelnut colored and persistent head. The scent immediately reveals a nice complexity: fruity and warm notes, such as cooked plums or apples, are complemented by hints of vanilla, toffee, almonds and a delicate touch of orange.

The taste confirms all the promises perceived by the nose, with the addition of notes of biscuits, almonds, nuts and a subtle spicy finish with licorice.

Bottle from The Grove Huddersfield as part of their get rid of stuff filling up their fridges special offer. A real gusher. Problem on a train to ve honest. Cloudy mid brown colour. Its a strong toffee syrupy slightly estery beer. Yes clearly on right route to a belguan ale and had of plenty if belgian ales like this. Touch sweet maybe

Bottle shared. Hazy amber pour with white head. Hoppy slightly sour aroma. Flavour of sour apples, seemed to be bad.

250 ml bottle purchased at 5titius, Olot, Spain. Almost clear, copper golden body with a dense off-white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, brown sugar, dry fruit and a hint of alcohol. Flavor is as expected by aroma, sweet malt, caramel, brown sugar, dry fruit and hint of alcohol. It’s rather sweet but still feels quite refreshing, balanced bitterness and all in all a very fine brew. Fine rich body and a long bittersweet aftertaste. The alcohol is more obvious in aroma than flavor, and feels more warming than alcoholic.

When tasting this beer it reminded me of La Trappe Dubbel, but a little less ’thick’ and a little less sweet.

Very nice beer. I basicly loved everything about it, though i could’ve been a bit extremer in all departements. Mouthfeel was close to perfect though!
