Bottle. No idea where from. Thought this would be well past it. Plenty of life on opening. Pours silky and clear. Sits black in the glass with a slim tan head. Nose has rich semi bitter chocolate. Creamy vanilla bourbon barrel. Some hop leaf. Taste is semi sweet with is rich chocolate bitterness. Smooth and silky mouthfeel. Fine carbonation. Lingering dark chocolate bourbon heady finish. Held up mighty fine.
Bottle from Cloudwater. Tried at new year. Thick black colour with no head. Aroma bourbon, barrel and toffee. Taste chocolate bitter to moderately sweet full thick body.

Bottle picked picked up from Cloudwater Webshop and consumed in Frank, Lenggries Mountain Camping, Southern Bavaria Wednesday 25th December 2019 (Christmas Day!) whilst listening to our album of the year - 'W.H. Lung' - 'Incidental Music'. ***Disclaimer***, Loz picked yet another sour on her random pull out of the box, I was done with the acidity of sours for the evening so got her to select again. Pours very dark brown without much of a head, the carbonation is subtle. Thick in the mouth, boozyness, sweetness, lots of chocolate, it's got some oomph..... like this, some bold beefy flavours, this is a great beer.

750ml bottle. Pouts black with a thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, bourbon, dark fruits. Taste is very chocolatey, plenty of bourbon too, dried fruits, sweet, boozy. Full bodied, smooth, almost no carbonation. Enjoyed this much more than the Speyside variant.
