Can. Opaque dark brown beer, decent tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry z, reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow dark chocolate and dark malt cream. Dominant and slightly tart blackcurrant, very natural flavour. Smooth and semi dry finish. Pretty fruity but simplistic.

Srednio ciala, chlalne, b ciekawe i b smqczne :)

On keg at Fierce Bar, Edinburgh. Appearance - dark brown to black and opaque. Fawn head. Nose - molasses, boiled sweets and light smoke. Black fruits and wood. Light booze. Taste - blackberries and black cherries. Light wood and chocolate edge to it. Palate - tangy and medium to full bodied. Lovely elegant finish. Overall - great stuff.

Black beer, light brown head. Thick fruity smell with some chocolate. Flavour has tart blackcurrant up front which gets balanced out with chocolate and toasty malt and a bit of a tang from the white wine barrel aging too. I can see that it wouldn't be for everybody but I like this very much .

[On tap at Fierce, Rose Street, Edinburgh.] An opaque deep purple pour with a fast fading white head; tarry aroma; tart black currant taste with a rich fruity body with traces of fudge and black forest gateaux; and a long, long fruity finish . Really, really good.

Keg at fierce bar Edinburgh... Dark black.. Thin tan lacing.. Soft funk blackcurrant... Soft red wine soft sharp tart fruits nose... Big fruit.. Soft earthy blackcurrant.. Dark fruits.. Light funk.. Light licorice.. Lightest cinamon... Light tart funk.. Big licorice finish.. Heavy rich.. Tart tart blackcurrant.. Sharp fruits.. Earthy.. Loving it but despite no licorice there's a light licorice tone that really lingers..

Keg at Fierce Aberdeen. It pours opaque black with a small deep tan head. The aroma is tangy blackcurrant, liquorice, umami, roasted malt, fruit compote, sacher torte and black forest gateaux. The taste is tart, tangy, roasted malt, bitter - sweet, umami, toothy, liquorice, blackcurrant, jammy, fruit compote, kick of fruity acidity, touch of cacao and toast with a tangy blackcurrant finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Very fruity and hides the abv very well. Tasty.
