For those looking for harmony, we strongly recommend this fresh, citrus-scented, medium-bodied beer. Its lightness is due to the ratio of malt to hops. We hope you succeed too! With Falconer's Flight hops.

On tap @ the brewery taproom. Clear golden, white head. Pretty one-dimensional, all-over bitter pale ale. Not bad, but quite dull.

Bottle picked up from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, nr Gent Belgie. Consumed at home listening to The Blinders - Columbia Saturday 4th May 2019. Pours hazy amber with a sticky white head. A jolly pleasant APA, citrus led with a steady dry bitterness, would be happy having a few of these.

American pale ale from what is likely Hungary's best known new craft brewery at the moment, longneck bottle from Geers in Ghent. Very thick and creamy, very regular and very stable, thickly and consistently membrane-lacing, egg-white head over a lightly hazy, warm orange blonde beer with almost amberish tinge, misty with sediment. Delicate, exotic, perfumey, I would almost dare say 'feminine' bouquet of orange water, mangosteen flesh, orange-scented hand soap, warm biscuit, kumquat, granadilla, lavender, home made lemonade, subtle notes of white pepper and sweet paprika. Very fruity onset, crisp and bright with notes of mangosteen, mandarin, orange, granadilla and light lychee, sweetish in aroma more than in taste (as usual with modern American style pale ales, of course), lively carbonated but nowhere in a harsh way; smooth-edged, supple, almost lightly creamy body, cereally in its core but softer and a bit biscuity at its edges, bathing in a delicately perfumey, exotic, fruity hoppiness, providing luscious orange water, kumquat and lychee impressions retronasally on the one hand and a soft, powdery, mildly peppery 'end bitterness' in the mouth on the other hand. Deliciously juicy, almost citrus juice effects linger after swallowing, along with a thin and delicate toasty bitterish accent remaining from the malts. This whole new generation of young and passionate Eastern European craft breweries has pleasantly surprised me before and this is another such lovely surprise: this is a very perfumey, almost bath-soapy yet at the same time extremely elegant and delicate example of the old APA style, with soft malt features and generous and very well-selected hoppy aromas beautifully intertwined into one smooth, juicy, refined whole. I love this kind of little gems, this is way better than I was expecting and deserving of a high score on this site, one of the most elegant APAs I had in quite a while, really.

Tap at Beer Point, Budapest. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light grassy, citrus, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, malt, mineral, earthy, light metallic hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This one is all about the bitterness.
