Pours hazy black with a lasting, thin, tan head. Aroma of orange peel, prune, cashew, toast, biscuit, chocolate powder. Taste is light malty sweet chocolate, nuts, topped with prune & raisin; bittersweet orange peel linking it with a toasty accent & a herbal hoppy finish, more black tea & orange; sediment giving a yeasty & hop burn effect. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Agreeable 'flavoured' BIPA.

28/XI/19 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 24/XII/19 - (2019-1904)

Clear deep brown to black beer, creamy dense beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, grains, hay, lots of hops, nice roast, orange peel, dark chocolate, good stuff! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish, lots of oranges, citrus, bitter hops, soft roast, some dark chocolate, cocoa powder. Aftertaste: malty, pretty bitter, dry, bit grassy, nice and fruity, oranges, orange peel.

Brown.Aroma is orange chocolate and melasses, crystal sugar, prickly pear. Taste is bitterv chocolate and orange zest. very dry. Not bad.

Bottle. Hazy darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is orange peel, chocolate, leafy hops, liquorice. Taste is leafy hops, orange peel, chocolate, cereals, roast and nuts there too. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Nice Black IPA.

Bottle, dark brown, brown creamy head. Dry orange, nice sweet roast, medium body, sparkly, chewy, grassy,piney, orange peel, long bitter finish.

330 ml bottle, shared by Katie and Arnold, thanks! Dark brown-copperish, hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roast, nuts, grapefruit, dark berries, some tropical fruits. Tastes similar, with more creamy chocolate. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes medium roasty, moderate sweet, a bit dry, fruity, citric, a bit nutty, with dark chocolate, slight coffee, moderate tropical fruits. Very nice. A quite typical BIPA, don't get much of the orange. Well balanced between sweet, roasty and hoppy notes. Very solid. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15

0,33l bottle at home shared by Katie und Arnold. BB 24.12.2019. almost black color, small tan head. smells earthy, bit soapy, mango, tobacco, herbal. nice to very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of licorice, earthy, tobacco, grassy, herbal, bergamot. finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of bergamot, earthy and tobacco notes. very nice one, great balance, very good to drink.

On tap at Ammutsøn. Orange peel coffee nose, amazing head still there after 5 minutes. Flavor is subtle roasted chocolate malt, not as much hop aroma as I expected, plenty of bitterness at the end with an almost red wine tannin taste. Maybe too dry on the finish. Update, tried in bottle 10-Jul'19: similar experience.

On tap at the brewpub. A hazy orange brown beer with a off white head. Aroma of coconut, sweet dark malt, chocolate. Taste of orange fruits, coconut, sweet dark chocolate malt.
